A creative picture taken by my sister. Taken with an iPhone camera. This could've been taken from a better angle and could've had more art. ;]]]]]]
Fall - The Saturdays
No sé cómo actuar o qué decir
Cae, cae, cae, cae, cae, cae
troppo tempo
che vorrei
poterti dire che
io... io non sento la distanza
io non sento la distanza
nella mia stanza
io non sento la distanza
nella mia stanza...
(se stringi
tra le mani
la mia voce
ti accorgi che
tu non sentirai distanza
è tanto...
troppo tempo
che vorrei
poterti dire che
io... io non sento la distanza)

Taken for monthly theme "Me, myself and I". 1/100 second, 16-85 VR @ 85mm. Used two flashguns, a Nikon SB 600 with diffuser slightly behind and to the right and YN 460II to the left - both set manually and fired by in built flash acting as a commander only. Black side of the reflector as the background.
Not easy doing self-portraits, getting the framing right, the focusing right, sitting fully in the frame etc. This is the best of a bad bunch, but only my second time playing with multiple flashes off camera and first attempt at a self-portrait so fairly pleased.
So ... yes I would love to have been able to ride a horse properly ... it's not too late I know. But I aspired to be a Mounted Policewoman when I was younger.
It appealed to my love of animals and my view of justice in the world. I still think that mostly but I have a less rose-tinted view of the role of the police. I think I have a pretty balanced and calm view of the world and a real sense of justice - shame really. Bit late now... LOL
There's a lovely story though today about today's shot. I was looking for some horses to photograph. Instead I found some ponies 5 mins drive from where I live. They were fenced in so I climbed through a few brambles to get to them. They (3 of them) trotted over (obviously thought I had some carrots or something!).
Next thing - a 4WD stopped and the lady driving asked 'could she help?' (probably thinking was up to no good!) Explaining I was doing a "photo a day project" and was looking for ponies or horses. She basically said "follow me" and so we did. She led us to the most beautiful setting and her daughter was just bringing in her horse to take her for a ride. They very kindly let me (a complete stranger) take these 3 shots for the project. How good is that?
Happy days .... :-)
Thanks so much to Michelle (the 4WD driver); Vicky (daughter and about to go for a ride) and Charm (horse!)
Latest Selfpotrait session I've done, used BrickTop of Snatch the film as inspiration, very notable in some of the pictures.
By the way here is enjoy.

THanks brow !
We have a little blue boat in our backyard for when we go up to Manning Park, but mostly just go and canoe instead. Its raining, which displeases me! My dad bought a Wii today after my hockey practice, woo. No homework, exams are over, how to spend the weekend: Glee Marathon! I really like this photo. The other day I noticed something, In school they tell us to write our future goals, why not dreams? Are dreams unrealistic, unreachable, nor possible? Hmm.
A kiss for the roll I have heard is good luck. You stand around the Casino for too long you'll hear all types of stories.
Come on Snake Eyes! Mama is ready to go home.
It was raining a lot before the wedding, but fortunately Charlie had brought along not only an umbrella, but a raincoat.
