Got a new softbox, Westcott Apollo 28x28, also bought the 40 degree Grid. Set it up tonight and took some hand held self portraits, to test things out. Most of these were shot with manual setting via YN-622C, at either 1/8th power or 1/4 power, focal length set to auto
My father and I on our stoop in Eriel, NJ. This was the second house I had lived in, previously in Philadelphia. I believe this was Easter Sunday, judging by my slick duds.

Found myself with nothing to do tonight so spent 30 minutes coming up with this (10 mins of that was spent moving the bleedin kitchen furniture about) nothing amazing but have always wanted to give something like this a try.

I meant to take a quick trip to Dick's [Sporting Goods] to get myself a new Nalgene (water bottle) ...but I got on the wrong bus, the bus that doesn't lead back to campus. I was feeling really bus-sick. Probably because I was reading.
Then I had to wait about 30min in the collllld for the other bus to take me back home (campus).
I really need to live somewhere that has a decent public transportation system. Or get a car. (and my license)
