Another one for self-album at Lake Tekapo, New Zealand.
I had decided at that time to "forget" about being a landscape photographer for a while, and became a tourist couple instead.
I think I made a correct decision :)

On vacation I take a lot of pictures of my riding buddies, but I want a picture of myself on my mountainbike.
This is my first attempt, putting the camera on a tripod, setting exposure to manual and focusing to manual so that the camera is ready.
Triggering was done with a delay shutter release of 20 seconds and 9 shots at a speed of 2 fps and hoping a nice composition comes out of it.
This is my self potrait taken by looking at mirror that was there on wall at fishermans harbour in Mina, Abu Dhabi.

For changing lines
I've got no time tonight
In these times the wind surpasses the tide
when the wake ups hard to find
dreams make up for your life
This crazy shine it never lets you die
Growing up
We become what we want
Again the moon rises up too high
And we don't need the sky
Wonder what it is that makes the world turn slower
wonder what it is that makes me feel so mad
everyone that talks to me I so wish wouldn't
I wouldn't even care exept I feel so bad
I feel so bad
why is there noone in my life
time
there's no time tonight
Wide
there's no room to see wide
Time
There's no time tonight
There's noone in my life

This is a slightly different take on “2024_SelfPortrait_38”.
I am late this week! Taken with my husbands iPad....I have felt like I am being pulled in many directions lately! We totaled our car coming home from Yosemite, then my desktop computer crashed! Hard disk trashed so I have been putting it all back together! Luckily we were not hurt in the car event, and all my pictures were safe in the computer crash.... life is good!
I tried out another experimentation of a self-potrait: but this time in front of a side-view mirror while driving through Lakeland, Florida.
A danish poem i made sometime ago, its about not to be loved in return, or its about living your life when you are dreaming.
2nd film. Yes, too many pictures today. Too many uploads, I should not, but I do. Scanning the second film, I am filled of pride.

day eighty two
spent an evening in a big field singing 'i'll go back if you ask me' and 'i've got soul but i'm not a soldier' with a few thousand others. all good clean muddy fun.
Ophidiophobia is the fear of snakes - if you couldn't have guessed :)
Yay! Back to photoshop, I couldn't get a real snake to take the photo, so I just found a picture of as snake and photoshopped it in.
I have seen what it looks like completely black and white and for some reason I think it makes it look even more superimposed so I decided to just desaturate it a lot. Apart from the snake nothing else has been photoshopped.
One of my friends asked 'why aren't you looking scared, I thought that it is meant to be a fear'. Now bear with me my explanation is a bit pretentious, the reason is in all of these photos I don't want it to just be someone who is affected by the fear, as then I will have the same scared expression in every photo. But instead it is as if I am a manifestation of the fear, and am control of it. (Lol, I dont care about pretentiousness any more)

What makes us collect?
Well I can start off telling you how my Joker card collecting started, some drunk fool got red wine all over my favorite deck of cards with Skegness backs... so since my deck of cards was heavily marked for all future and more or less useless I kept the Joker who had managed to survive unsoiled...
Then when I got home I put it on my kitchen wall, and from then on I would pick out any joker from any new deck of cards I bough and put it on my kitchen wall...
Then on and on my Madness and craving for new Jokers to my collection grew, I asked friends and relatives if I could steal their Jokers... I suddenly couldn't just go past playing cards who for some weird reason would be trashing around on the streets, but had to turn every single one (that doesn't make you look rather nutty) and I found many new Jokers that way...
Later on when I got a cable connected to my flat I started browsing the interweb, for Jokers and quickly found out that I wasn't the only fool to collect fools and I started trading jokers with people in france, israel and Stockholm...
Well today I have close to 300 and I have then tidy in a big map wich is starting to bulge a lot...
Here are some other nutters here on AD who collects different stuff... ENJOY!

For a creature who has felt a lot of pale spooky angst ridden soul screams I feel that these painting have given me a lot of calm... somehow it feel comforting that you are not alone...

Recently my mind wasn´t my greatest problem, my spine failed me again, was downed for some time, bedridden, taken away from my painting, somehow we or I at the very least get more annoyed when my body fail me rather than my mind, when we feel great while we are on our feet and healthy we take this for granted and when (if) we get well again we are thankful for a short while and then we forget to be thankful again...
Todays feature is dedicated to this faithful companion which we rarely see are charming friend the skull...
don´t forget that friend lurking there underneath flesh and skin, say hello to you hidden friend the next time you look at your face in the mirror, after all he (she, it) is the shelter of your mind and the base sculpt of your face...

..and Fungicortex traveled through a tiny worm hole to a void universe, and he said up on the void: "let there be sound" and he was pleased with what he saw... Good bring me some noise!" and the universe lit alive and noise transformed to colours and thoughts...
