Dimanche.
La fin d'un weekend chargé en évènements ? Après une soirée burlesque, un bal XIXème et une soirée disco-pop et au moins Six verres de Martini, un porto, une marguarita, et ce matin... couché à 6H30.
Je trouve que je le vis bien.

I am the first person to admit when something doesnt work, these images were meant to start of as full length fashion shots but, like everyone i was having one of those days made more difficult i think because of having to use myself as a model! but still got some funky potrait shots. I know the amount of self potraits makes me look vein but there more experimental than anything before i track down willing models! ...

i do not celebrate St. Patrick's day. I do not think that many people are aware he is the patron saint or Ireland. "he drove the snakes out" Meaning he pushed the Pagans out of their homes and the rest of the people were made to convert.
As for the drinking, well usually this day falls somewhere during or after Lent, when many men had given up drinking. This day allowed them to have a beer or a pint and for some even meat.
Seeing as I am Wiccan I do not celebrate catholic saints. Or need an excuse to drink. Even so I hope the rest of you had a nice one.

I had a good day. Work was good too. Really nothing exciting. I have to work all so it that's good.
One of the things that kept me busy and off of Flickr was a photography course I took in the fal. It was a great course with a great teacher (Eric Boutlier Brown), and our final project was ten images with some kind of link. I went with a self-portrait based on ten objects that tell something about me.

Man today was just one of those days where I could not for the life of me wake up early. I mean I had but the moment I was done with my errands I went back to sleep until it was almost time to get ready and go to work. So this shot was kind of last minute, more so then usual. Just grabbed my Mamiya Universal and a bunch of Polaroids (Fujiroids I should say) placed them on this table and threw some up in the air as well. I remember not to long ago I use to not be a big fan of Polaroids, until my brother got this Mamiya (its now mine, he gave it to me) and shot with it. The fact that it was able to get a really shallow depth of field changed my mind, cause before I would see Polaroids where the depth of field is massive since its shooting at like F11 or something like that and I'm not a big fan of that, and only the top of the line and super expensive Polaroids had manual controls so thats why I never took much interest in it back than. Then this came around and now I love it, espcially the Fuji FP-3000b black and white film, just looks plain awesome.
To speed up the process I didn't bother trying to focus on myself since that takes time... So I just focused on the Mamiya, I also had the misses throw the Polaroids in the air for me so I could save time and not have to do much composite work either. Fun part, cause I was just using window light I had a slow shutter speed of 1/30th so there was some funky motion blur on some of the Polaroids. Post work was simple enough, similar to my last couple of black and white shots, slightly faded/matte, never thought I'd become a fan of the faded look but turns out I am now hahaha.
The title "Ask Me Anything" is also the title of a song by The Strokes.

Fill = camera right: an Impact 42"x72" reflector (silver).
Rim = camera right: bare Godox TT600 speedlight at 35 mm zoom through 2 layers of white diffusion fabric.
another one with that wig. i upped the contrast a lot and changed the eyes. other than that nothing else was done.
