my new experiment: i took a butt load of pictures of my iTunes visualizer. And then used them for my texture. I like it.

This is Photoshop corrected fix of the rather red original.

My Mojave photos will soon return, but I am taking the briefest of breaks to share this photo taken on my trip to Kentucky.

At Holocaust Memorial

During a solo summer snorkel outing in Lake Superior I paused a half mile out and snapped quick selfie.

For FGR "If I Had a Million Dollars" day and my increasingly fiesty 365 project.

This shot will only truly be appreciated by those that know and love the song like I do. :-)

From upper left, clockwise:

1. I'd buy you a house. (I would buy you a house)

2. Some furniture for your house (maybe a nice Chesterfield or an Ottoman)

3. A K-Car (a nice Reliant automobile)

4. We'd build a tree fort in our yard

5. We could put a little tiny fridge in there

6. I'd buy you a fur coat (but not a real fur coat, that's cruel)

7. I'd buy you an exotic pet (like a llama, or an emu)

8. I'd buy you John Merrick's remains (oh all those crazy elephant bones)

9. We wouldn't have to walk to the store

10. We'd take a limousine cause it costs more

11. We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner (but we would eat Kraft Dinner, of course we would, we'd just eat more)

12. I would buy you a green dress (but not a real green dress that's cruel)

13. I would buy you some art (a picasso or a garfunkel)

14. I would buy you a monkey (haven't you always wanted a monkey)

This was actually pretty fun. :-)

CREDIT NOTE: The only photo from the mosaic part that is "my" photo is the one of my house. The rest are from other sources. I wish I'd remembered to save all the links so I could give proper credit. :(

A self pic in 'the bean' (i.e. Cloud Gate) at Millenium park in Chicago. The surface of the sculpture creates a fisheye effect, and I was using a Canon 15mm f/2.8 fisheye lens for a 'double fisheye'...

I want to travel arround the world, drink coffee with my herroes, sleep in a hammock & build campfires under the stars.

All this year I've been waiting for that day when I could take the photos I wanted to on campus without the fuss of people seeing me. On a sunny Sunday in June, I finally made it happen (for the most part, it's balls hot outside so I'm gonna do more later.)

Salisbury Beach, Labor Day 2009

Sitting at the computer on a nice and (finally) warm, sunny day! Would be outside mowing, except that I need to refill the gas can first.

I am definitely running of of idea here as you can see. Plus I narrowed my choices for today's 365days pic down to four, but I couldn't decide. So put all of that together, and this is what you get infliced with!

Still learning to improve and take nice pics... but happy to be here!

Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography. ~George Eastman

Another amazing bun, by yours truly--before I got my neck tattoo

1. Stop what you're doing.

2. TAKE A PICTURE OF YOURSELF RIGHT NOW. Don't primp, just snap one!

3. Upload it.

4. Tag 5 or 6 people to do the same (tag them in your photo and/or send flickrmail)

Jeremy Sloan tagged me on this, and I'm paying it forward!

Nearly forgot to take my 365 pic before calling it a night...
