I spent the afternoon fishing at Saux Head Lake...didn't catch anything...so I stopped at Little Presque Isle on the way home, and caught some pics.
A 4 sec selfpic on Lake Superior. I used the flash on my p&s pocket cam to illuminate myself. 5 seconds after this pic a wave washed away that little peninsula.

Playing with angles and lighting a bit.
I see why my wife says I'm teddy-bear shaped. :-)
I think I've been in a bit of a rut recently, photographically speaking... far too many photos taken in the bathroom, sans shirt. Though that is the only room with any decent lighting, plus light, solid-colored walls...
Perhaps it's time for me to try to come up with some different ideas - always willing to entertain suggestions to that end...
Some idiot pulled the fire alarm at the Hoover Dam. We waited several hours in the hot sun. Luckily I found some shade under a palm tree.
The first lawn mowing of the year, and a good thing too - the yard was turning into a pasture. Fortunately, I love mowing, and it was an absolutely beautiful day for it!
I love this series. I had some great natural light coming out of my window and took full advantage of it. No diffuse glow in any of these if you can believe that.
part of the sheet series
They were very friendly and loved my shoelaces especially. The zookeeper kept telling me not to step on them. I am very used to being around birds... we own 3 parrots.

[Self portrait for 365Days: Day 70/365 6/17/07]
Pic taken at a gay bar (Missie B's). This pic was featured in a local fag rag called "KC Exposures."
I still have that hat which I got while staying at the Okuma resort. I'd highly recommend it if traveling to Okinawa. Very high class and quite beautiful.
More playing around with photoshop, trying to create an "old" photo look.
Tweaked the lighting and contrast a bit, then added a layer, which was made sepia toned, and then the opacity of the sepia layer dropped down to around 60% or so.
I like the elements, I like the night, I like taking photos, and I like art...I also like the thought of walking on another planet, but I'm pretty certain that will never happen, so I attempt to create the illusion here by combining my likes.
Some all natural fun with a selfpic.
