this is like one of those illusion things, only certain (very clever?) people can see me in this picture
The self-timer of the Olympus XA is a really nice feature... Taken in the "Schloss O", a building which houses currently some design studios, Zurich (Switzerland).

A self challenge I was inspired to do from my best friend who told me to Be confident, Love myself, and OWN IT!!!!!!! :)
In today's self-portrait, I'm captured in my element, seated before my laptop, engrossed in work. The scene is bathed in warm Tungsten lighting, enhanced by a full CTO filter on my trusty Godox TT350C (set to TTL mode at -2). To ensure the perfect illumination, I combined the power of a Godox AD 200 Pro (also in TTL mode) with a Nikon SB-28 using optical flash at 1/16 power for subtle fill light. While initially experimenting with just the computer's ambient light, my patience wore thin, reaffirming my preference for being 'behind' the camera.
i've been spending all my day doing nothing. Im tired of this, of the same shit everyday.. im trying change it im really trying but while it doesnt change i keep taking pics of myself hoping i can capture all my frustation...

Our third project at university is called Self/Other and is all about self portraits and portraiture in general. Seeing as I spent 365 days dressing up, being silly, using lots of photoshop and most of it was very light hearted, I decided I wanted to do something a bit different for this.
I'm focusing on Myself and My Other Self, the self that I don't like to let people see. My other self is chronically ill with Fibromyalgia, everything hurts and I get tired all the time. My brain fogs up, I get confused and forgetful and some days the simplest of things exhaust me or drive me to tears. It's been quite difficult to even talk about so putting it into pictures has been even harder.
These are from the first film that I rattled off this afternoon. More of a test shoot than anything. I don't think they are as powerful as I want them to be so if anyone has any ideas/constructive critism I would really appreciate it!
