Self portrait Series

May 1, 2022 - My last dinner on vacation was here at McDonald's located at Leidsestraat 97. I like the self-service kiosks located throughout the world. No need to worry about the language barrier. I finally used my first self-service kiosk in the Ohio just a couple of days ago since they aren't that common in the states (at least the ones that I go to)

Watching a photograph shot 3 years ago and wondering if that is the same guy...

First time trying out this self portrait thing. At some point I was taking pictures of my arm! And at some point it was half my face. This was my fourth picture.

A self-portrait.

This was my last chance to post something for week 5. I'm leaving at 5:00am. Wed. morning on a plane flight to the US for work. The company I work for has open pit mines in the States and Chile. There are two employees that need training and I have to go do it. While I'm there I am taking video and pictures of the huge open pit mine. I land at noon Wed. in Vegas. I drive a car to Ely, Nevada and spend a week and a half living out of a hotel and come home Valentines Day.

Next week (for week 6) I will try and post up a picture if I have internet in my room. I should come home with some interesting shots to post. I'm bringing my works Nikon D200.

Looking forward to seeing everyones work when I get back!!!

Back to my childhood home after becoming a mother, I find myself nostalgic for my own carefree youth.

TRELLEBORG TYRES AT THE NATIONAL SELF PROPELLED SPRAYER DEMO IN U.K.

Self portrait done from an old photograph. This is actually my first painted portrait...done when I was 19 years old. It was difficult though and I cried over the frustration. Skin tone is much easier for me now.

A portrait of my self taken by my girl, directed by me.

On a long cold winter day, I got really bored. In a clean kitchen, I started to play with my camera and snapped this.

This is another self portrait, I did a whole section in my portfolio of getting across shyness and hiding behind hair or hands or looking away.

Self portrait. I'm wearing the St. Christopher's pendant that Grandma gave me - I wear it every day and it is supposed to bring good luck to you while you're traveling.

No matter how hard you try to hide who you are they never go away.

I belong to a local photography club and every month we have a competition, this month it is 'Self Portrait' full edit allowed, like most photographers I know what side of the lens I'd rather be, so I thought this would be an excellent excuse for me to have a play around.

Cruise control made it safe.

Self portrait Series

So I have been playing around with my lights and enjoying every bit of it. Sadly though, I have to model for myself.

The good thing though, is that I now have a few decent enough pictures of myself which I can use as my display picture.

Oh and this picture maybe a little out of focus, but what can you do with self portraits?
