Looking at it makes me want to buy cough drops or life insurance for some reason!

Picture's worth a thousand words, so what better way to know a word than to get a pic of it also. Set to micro, camera tilted at en angle, found out it worked a little better if i moved the cam a little before taking the pic.

Life is such a long road and is full of up and downs
we meet people for good or for bad ..and there cames alone
that one person that will change our lives , and sometimes
that person is gone and you can't do anything but cry and
hope that the person you love never change , and comes back
to you , to fill that hole on your heart to make you whole again
and years pass and you keep looking outside your door ..
maybe today will be the day ....maybe today
because I miss you ...like the deserts miss the rain
Once again I've teamed up with my friend Brian for this week's Team-Up Thursday Challenge. The theme this week was selective focus. I love how these images go perfectly together. Mine is the cactus on top and Brian's is the guitar on the bottom. It's almost like the bokeh in above are musical notes that the guitar is about to play. And I love how the strings and spines are both deliniated. Okay...enough waxing on for one night. Enjoy!

A little fun with a shot of my son on the playground bars at Red Mountain Park. I like how it came out, I think. I may post the original later. For now it's back to work -- that is, writing about spending time outside with my son, instead of posting pictures of spending time outside with my son. I have the coolest job. And the coolest son.
