While waiting for the End-of-Festival fireworks to explode, I noticed this alium burst in the garden.
After capture, I changed the hue.

What plant produces these corkscrew-shaped seedpods? I think it's a legume, like vetch....
Photographed in middle Tennessee, USA, the first of December, numerous on the ground in an open field dried where they had been growing.

These images were from a morning walk on October 14. The dew had set on the freshly emerging milkweed seeds prompting me to go macro for awhile.
