I'll admit I think it looks more than a little like a hissing lizard.

Found this very interesting seed pod at my special lunchtime place. I have no idea what flower it goes to. That is a mystery to be solved!

We ate them in an Indian curry. Amazing vegetable! Milkweed is such an outstanding food!

It's a pleasure to still see the purple flowers of the honesty even at this time of the year. The seedpods from the earlier flowers are filling out. And yet more seedpods from the even earlier ones are turning papery and drying.
