Rosebay Willowherbs standing proud over Ogston Reservoir, even though they are now seedless husks, part of nature's cycle.
If you look closely enough you can just make out the cobwebs. Struck me as evoking a fall feeling in the middle of a spring afternoon.

The whole hill is covered with orange trees, and each one is full of these tiny, tasty, seedless mandarin oranges. YUMMM.
These little persimons are the sweetest persimmons I've ever tasted!

Large, seedless black grapes.
After 12 hours in a dehydrator. It took more like 24 hours to finish dehydrating these the first time trying this.
Bananas below them in this photo. They picked up some grape juice drips. Live and learn.

I had a bag of what were supposedly seedless grapes today, and was quite surprised to find seeds in the middle. Since I was sitting at my desk, I didn't want to be spitting into my garbage can every few minutes, so I just put them on a napkin and forgot about them for a while. When I noticed them again, I thought they'd make an interesting macro shot.

Hopefully this little vine will grow and produce ruby seedless grapes. The label said vigorous deciduous vine with bold textured deep green foliage. Grown for it's large clusters of small to medium seedless red to reddish black berries. Sweet dessert fruit. Ripens late midseason. Fast growing vine 20ft to 25ft. Once established needs little water.
We planted this last year along with a green grape. Both seem to be flourishing, so I'm hopeful!!
Among several really thoughtful and sweet things Art did to make my day special was this beautiful spread of tasty morsels.

For this card I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks Seedless Preserves, Pickled Raspberry, Festive Berries and Picket Fence on watercolor paper. 110# white cardstock made the 5" X 7" card base. I used my Cricket Create to cut out the heart and caption. After coloring the heart and sentiment I glued them onto a piece of pink cardstock. The same color distress ink was splattered over the card front. Festive Berries and Seedless Preserves were used to edge the card base and then card front was adhered to it. A Faber Castell black Pitt artist pen was used to dark stitches around the edge of the heart and edge the sentiment. Glossy Accent covers the sentiment and clear Wink of Stella is on the heart. To make the flowers I used a small flower punch to make petals. I curled the petals then stacked and glued 6 or 7 together to make a blossom of which I centered a purple gem. Under the blossoms I used a piece of cheesecloth, some white stamens I had in my stash and flourishes cut from Impression Obsession Heart Flourish die. Zots were used to adhere the bouquet of flowers. Tim Holtz jute string was used for the bows. I finished with Stardust Stickles on the bows and tips of the flourishes. I am entering this card in Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge entitled Red and Pink at www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge
