Section 52 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, May 21, 2020. This section was part of the cemetery’s 1968 expansion. The area was converted to burial space to deal with the massive increase in requests for burials after JFK’s televised 1963 funeral at the cemetery. Remains of the T section which supports the roof of the tank at the rear. This is a a short vertical leg which is riveted to one of the intermediate baffles.
Side view of the former Pinnacle, MT section house in Essex. A charming place to rent, especially if you like to view frequent passing trains. Constructed circa 1900.

The 3rd Bataillon of the Royal 22e Régiment (3 R22R) participate in an exercise in the training areas Valcartier, QC, on the December 1st 2011. During the exercise NMC3, the members of 3 R22R parachuted from a griffon helicopter, executed at 13 km march, as well as an platoon attack with live ammunition and completed a casualty evacuation (CASEVAC)..

IDEAL JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB GOAL POSTS FOR 9 v 9 MATCHES
The match standard multi-surface youth goal measures 16'x7' and is made from high impact UV stabilized 68mm reinforced uPVC with a two section crossbar to give the straightest uPVC crossbar of any football goal of this size. With eight fewer sections to clip together it is sturdier ,stronger,assembles quicker and performs better than any other comparable goal post.
Candid at the section they gave GPS for downtime. The girls enjoy wholesome snacks and hand held video games in between matches

Общая площадь дома составляет 650 м2. + 250 м2 терраса. Рассчитан на проживания 6 человек. В плане здание имеет супрематическую форму и состоит из 3-х уровней, смещенных относительно друг друга. Нижний уровень (цокольный этаж) 3-мя сторонами вкопан в существующий рельеф, а одной стороной (вдоль бассейна) выходит стеной на внутренний двор. Цоколь включает в себя: гараж на одну машину, бойлерную, мастерскую, винный погреб, кладовые и тех. помещение для обслуживания бассейна. Средний уровень (первый этаж) состоит из двух блоков. В первом блоке: входная группа, холл, кухня-столовая. Второй блок полностью используется для отдыха, оздоровления, занятие спортом, игр и приёма гостей. На улице, вдоль второго блока есть бассейн 3х25 метров. Верхний уровень (второй этаж) состоит из 3-х спален (главная спальня и 2-е детские), кабинета, кладовой и холла с выходом на террасу.
Через все три уровня, до плоской, озелененной кровли, проходит лестница. Из-за перепада рельефа, между уровнем внутреннего двора и уровнем первого этажа, на улице предусмотрен пандус и лестница. Для удержания консоли второго этажа и разграничения двора и подъезда к дому устроена несущая стена.
В качестве основного, несущего материала использован монолитный бетон с текстурой деревянных досок. Полы, потолки и внутренние перегородки из массива дерева.

Grimethorpe Coal Preparation Plant Section Through - Simon Carves Drawing: 533/GRI/B3 Part 6 Of 11
This drawing depicts two sectional views through the Coal Preparation Plant at Grimethorpe Colliery, dated 9th April 1959.
Section A-A shows an elevation through the Electrical Switch Room.
Section B-B shows an elevation through the Coal Washing Plant.
Run Of Mine (R.O.M) Coal is conveyed into the Coal Preparation Plant via conveyors either side of Systemline 13. This Coal is then transfered via troughed belt conveyors to the 300T Coal Bunkers, situated between Systemlines 23-24 & 2-1.
The Coal is then gravity fed to steeply angled bucket elevators, via vibrating feeders, to the SimonACCO Baum Washing Jigs situated between Systemlines 22-19 & 3-5. The Baum Washing Jigs then separate the R.O.M coal into three products, which are Shale (which is discarded), Middlings (which is Coal and Shale combined together. The Middlings are conveyed to a Crusher and then re-introduced into the Coal Washing Process before the Baum Jig), and Clean Coal. The Clean Coal is screened after washing in the Baum Jig. These screens can be seen situated between Systemlines 19-17 & 6-9.
The oversize product is conveyed for further screening, for domestic and industrial customers. The undersize product flows to the Settling Cones, at Systemlines 18 & 7. The Coal Fines are settled out and are drawn off at the base of the Settling Cone then pumped to a Filter House, for further separation. The water is drawn off from the top of the Settling Cone to sumps situated at Systemlines 20 & 5, then pumped to the Baum Cones, shown at the plant extremities. Any Coal fines in the Baum Cones are allowed to settle out from the water, and are drawn off at the base of the cone. The 'clean' water from the Baum Cone was re-used in the CPP process where required.
Grimethorpe Colliery was situated in the Village of Grimethorpe, Near Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The colliery was opened in 1894 and closed in 1993.
A drawing rescued from the clear-out of the Simon Carves archives, 1987/88. The archives, which were then held at the SimonACCO offices in Carlisle, contained drawings which dated back to 1913, with more 'recent' contracts dating to 1962/63. I saw this particular drawing (which was going to be destroyed), and politely asked the then Chief Draughtsman wether I could keep it, to which I was informed that I could.
At that time I was employed at SimonACCO as an Apprentice Draughtsman.
I found this drawing earlier this year (it had been in a cupboard at home for the last 33 years!), and decided to get it scanned digitally. The original drawing is in good condition, as it was traced onto a reasonably thin canvas rather that the paper that was prevalent at the time.

▶ Founded in 1969 as the Montreal Expos, the team moved to Washington, D.C. — and changed its name— for the 2005 season, ending a 33 year absence for baseball in the Nation's Capital. The team moved into new Nationals Park in 2008, a stadium located in the Navy Yard neighborhood of southeast Washington, D.C., along the Anacostia River.
