Market is on every day but is larger at weekends when the surrounding antique shops and secondhand books shops are open. A surprising number of books were on sale at reasonable prices.

My latest find, bought last week at a thrift store in the Mission for $10. Italian made, 100% wool. It was a little big, but I've already taken in the sides and just need to reset the sleeves and refinish the hem. It's in such perfect condition, I have to take the time to do it right.
