The Washington Coast has to be one of my all time favorites. It takes a thirty minute hike through the forest before you reach the shore to these amazing sea stacks. The sunset was blocked out by the clouds, but we had plenty of fun shooting moody seascapes. Hope you enjoy!

After just missing out with the sun and the Saint here on Friday, after waking up this morning and seeing the weather was nicer than expected. Another late trip to Arley to get 2857 leaving with the Great Western Set in tow.

I worked harder for this image than most, I broke a lens after my morning shoot, and had to hike back to the jeep to get a replacement lens. It was 12 miles total over very rough desert, and I was totally exhausted when we made it back that night, but it was worth it.

My first bike ride with my wife Theresa Jane Brown since last October when I had surgery for PROSTATE CANCER.
My adventure continues with Hormone Therapy and Radiotherapy scheduled for later this month and into April, as post op tests show that there is still residue of cancerous cells.

Backside of a 100+ year old industrial building along Boston's Fort Point Channel. This building is part of the 2.5 acre site that General Electric has purchased to house their new corporate headquarters when they relocate to Boston (MA) from Connecticut. Fortunately GE's plans are to renovate this building, not demolish it for something new. I suspect, however, this old fire escape will not survive the renovation.

... from the Severn Crossing. I have been sitting on this for a few weeks as could not decide which of the hundred or so near identical shots to post. I am a bit click happy; a combination of fear of losing a great shot, and the inner happiness that comes from the sound of the Nikon shutter. Oh, and yeah, I too would have liked to get the sun bang in the middle. ;-)

CN L517 crosses the Arcola high bridge in a rare daylight appearance. After missing the run in October, I thought that would be it for daylight runs this year. Thankfully, I was proven wrong. I got word of this train early in the morning, and got to Arcola as soon as possible. I was the only one down there for a long while, but knew the train was getting closer when more railfans started showing up. After waiting a couple hours, the horn was blown and the train headed over the half mile long bridge. It was great to finally shoot a train going over this structure.
