3 SD30C-ECOs haul J15 up Shortline Hill near Chestnut Street in Saint Paul. They made two trips up the hill on this morning, this was the second run. Lots of small puffy clouds this morning and as you can see on the right I nearly got nailed, fortunately the power mostly in sun.

A Yellow-crowned Night Heron surprisingly recaptures a blue crab that had escaped back into Horsepen Bayou after giving up its left pincer. Since blue crabs can regrow their pincers, this was a reasonable sacrifice, but wasted when it tried to hide in place rather than scurry away once it returned to the relative safety of the water. The bird, on the other hand, did not learn from its near loss, and makes the same tenuous claim on the right pincer, which gives way forthwith (see previous post).

the other day i had a go at making old fashioned chocolate fudge www.allrecipes.com/recipe/9420/old-fashioned-chocolate-fu...
i failed but all was not lost as the end product was a delicious chocolate sauce now decanted into small pots and placed in the freezer to eat as and when. a portion was spooned onto this dessert.
i'll reattempt the fudge another day

Gezellig een dagje met Inge (Pip) naar Groningen geweest , we zijn het Museum niet echt in geweest alleen in de hal, die foto's komen nog :-), maar ga dat zeker nog eens doen
Het gebouw van het Groninger Museum in Groningen is al een kunstwerk op zich. Het huisvest wisselende tentoonstellingen en een vaste collectie aan objecten op het gebied van archeologie, (oude) beeldende kunst, de geschiedenis van Groningen en ommeland, kunstnijverheid, Chinees en Japans porselein en actuele en hedendaagse kunst, vormgeving, fotografie en mode

Cozy a day with Inge (Pip) to Groningen, we have not been in the Museum just in the hall, those pictures are still :-), but will definitely do that again
The building of the Groninger Museum in Groningen is already a work of art in itself. It houses changing exhibitions and a permanent collection of objects in the field of archeology, (old) visual arts, the history of Groningen and surrounding, crafts, Chinese and Japanese porcelain and current and contemporary art, design, photography and fashion.
