A Ermida de São Pedro ou Capela de São Pedro ou Matriz de São Pedro ou Ermida de Nossa Senhora do Rosário ou ainda Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, localizada na freguesia de Corval, concelho de Reguengos de Monsaraz, foi edificada no Século XVI, sofrendo alguma alterações no Século XVIII.
É um monumento em vias de classificação pelo IPPAR, como Imóvel de Interesse Público (Despacho de Homologação de 23 de Maio de 2003).
Desta ermida, partiram muitas vezes peregrinações ao Menir da Rocha dos Namorados, em especial em anos de seca. www.freguesias.pt/portal/patrimonio.php?cod=071102

Kind of an accidental shot. I had left my camera out for the timelapse sequence - www.flickr.com/photos/yunir/7383654382/in/photostream/
But about an hour into shooting, the lights of the houses went out and it was completely dark - hence the silhouetted houses. The stars became more visible and the camera processed the colours as you see in this photo instead of the blueish tint seen in the timelapse.
For post-processing, I bumped up the brightness of the stars further.
Half a year has gone already and so it's time for my first '1 Sec a Day' app to be shared! Haven't had many day trips but there are a couple of mini breaks included and a change of dog! See what you can recognise from my photostream so far this year!
It starts with a visit to my niece's house for a New Year get together and ends with a doctor's appointment to find out my ECG and blood results (fine). What will the next half bring?!

The steelwork for two secions on the south side of the new Gull Wing Bridge under construction at Lowestoft arrived on a barge towed by the tug Elisa of Gibraltar. Here the two tugs turn the barge round and proceed beyond the bridge piers, no doubt to leave the barge within reach of the crane that will unload and position them (it's out of shot).

The always beautiful Charles Bridge in Prague. This image is from my trip to Prague in 2009, I have lots of Charles Bridge shots, this one is just after sunrise when the street lights went off.
ISO 100, 28mm, f13, (0.25, 1.0, 4.0 secs).
Blended in Photomatix and Tonemapped using Exposure Fusion to try to make it look as natural as possible.. Used Imagenomic Noiseware to reduce noise, especially on the sky. Used Nim Tonal Contrast on the buildings to give them more texture and structure. Used Nik Graduated Neutral Density to darken the sky a bit, then Nik Dartken Lighten Center to darken the edges a bit. Finally used a reverse curves in PS to reduce highlights without adding contrast.
And now that I am all done I noticed that I messed up the ghost removal in Photomatix (the first step) when I removed the ghosts on the pigeons. I wanted to take a shortcut and selected the whole area around the pigeons. Laziness never pays.
