En Mai 2004 ce n'étaient que quelques trains singuliers qui étaient encore assurés par des grosses bleues. La pluspart des locomotives CC pour la ligne 4 étaient déjà transformées en 72100. En pleine vitesse la 72049 passe le soir à Villiers-le-Sec avec un Corail vers la capitale.

24 subexposures of 55 sec each (and one 60 sec), taken 12-6-2024 with T2i, AT8IN, and Paracorr Type2 on Atlas Pro AZ/EQ-G. Only 23 mins integration time (only window to image is betwixt 2 houses with max altitude 34 degrees). Processed using Siril and GraXpert, this was the last time I used my Canon 500D for astrophotography. Have been wanting to get a decent image of this target for a long time. Got my 1st chance in Dec 2024, and haven't had any subsequent opportunities, doh!
Canon 5D, Canon EF 15mm fisheye. 1/800 sec @ f7, 100 ISO. No use of flash or reflectors.

Some people say that Gen Y or Z or whatever target this 15 year old represents are self-centred and not interested in others in any way, From my direct observation, either this kid must be unrepresentative, or people are wrong.
I was so impressed with his stunt riding while my 6-year old was in the playground next door that I asked him if I could photograph him - and the outcome was that he was delighted to help me and made the effort to make sure I got the picture I previsualised. Many thanks to you, whoever you are.

L'automne est la saison des couleurs chaudes, du jaune jusqu'au fauve. Cela ne se dément pas dans la 🌳chênaie-hêtraie🌳où, à tous les étages, le vert s'efface peu à peu, laissant place à d'autres couleurs qu'un rien de soleil met en valeur. Le hêtre est l'un de ces peintres de la forêt, même s'il n'est pas le plus exubérant. Encore faut-il qu'il ait de nombreuses feuilles à colorier, car si l'été a été très sec, il aura perdu, plus que d'autres espèces, des feuilles dès la fin de l'été. C'est que le hêtre est un champion dans la production des feuilles pour la capture du rayonnement solaire, supplantant le chêne lorsqu'il le dépasse en taille, mais il le paie aussi cher lorsque l'eau vient à manquer.

Autumn is the season of warm colors, from yellow to tawny. This is no exception in the 🌳oak - beech forest🌳where, on every floor, green gradually fades, giving way to other colors that a touch of sunshine brings out to best advantage. Beech is one of these forest painters, even if it's not the most exuberant. But it needs to have plenty of leaves to color, because if the summer has been very dry, it will have lost more leaves than other species by the end of summer. Beech is a champion at producing leaves to capture the sun's rays, outperforming oak when it outstrips it in size, but it also pays dearly when water runs out.
