One of a pretty large collection of tweaks of a SpherEye Cylinder parameter created with Apophysis. I think I had way too much fun with this param and I don't think I'm done yet!!!XD

View into the opposite direction (from "Valle del Bove" upwards to the summit - to west). In the center of the picture the smoking south east crater (SEC). Right in front the cone of the explosive summer eruptions 2008 and in the forground the lavaflows from that and former eruptions.

Botsuana.
On New Year's Eve, we visited Sokoji, a Soto Buddhist temple in San Francisco's Japantown. The Takumi Kato family was invited to perform a Taiko drum show just after midnight. Among the attendees was a woman with a friendly Golden Retriever dog. He was not impressed with the Taiko performance and faced away from the stage.
I processed a photographic and a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

"It's what we take when we wake that rewards us with a brand new day" - The Fire Still Burns - Good As New
This shot is from Spring Lake, NJ just a little earlier this morning. I originally planned on heading to Sandy Hook this morning, but for some reason decided against it and ended up in Spring Lake. It's supposed to be around 50 degrees here today, but unfortunately it was still about 19 on the beach. I'm also not entirely sure of the temperature of the water, but I can assure you it's pretty cold. Hope everyone has a great day!
