Here's an image from the tail end, literally, of my visit to Point Reyes National Seashore last Fall 2018. I'd sighted my first-ever bobcat with a hired guide a couple of times, and then once on my own. On my last morning, I took one last hike along this trail. The little bobcat jumped out of nowhere right in front of me and scampered down the trail. I'm heading that way again, hoping for more this next week; preferably more frontal views.
The setting and depth of field really come together with a painterly look that really draws the eye in nicely I think.

Come to the beach
Where the sea is blue
And little white waves
Come running at you,
A wave comes splashing
Over your toes.
You just stand still
And away it goes.
We'll build a castle
Down by the sea
And look for shells
If you'll come with me.
A young sea wolf patrols among the barnacle-covered rocks at low tide in a tidal estuary looking for easy pickings. This is at the very beginning of the end-of-summer salmon run, which is a time of plenty for the sea wolves and other coastal wildlife. Great Bear Rainforest, BC.

The waterfront of the village of Borth (Ceredigion, Mid Wales), looking towards the south, on a mostly clear evening in late May.
Borth, on Cardigan Bay, lies north of the university town of Aberystwyth and south of the Dyfi Estuary. It has become a seaside resort popular with both tourists and settlers from England, with a number of colourfully painted buildings. This stretch of the coast contains rocky cliffs and shingle beaches, as seen in this view, as well as sandy beaches, dunes – notably the Ynyslas Sand Dunes – and wetlands.
North of Borth, the coastal and estuarine land is designated as the Dyfi National Nature Reserve. The Ceredigion Coast Path, a 65-mile long-distance footpath that forms part of the Wales Coast Path, runs southward from Ynyslas through Borth and down as far as the town of Cardigan.
