Still not sure whether they are from humans or horses :). In the distance the skyline and pier of Scheveningen / The Netherlands. Despite it was a late Saturday afternoon in July, we where almost alone at the beach.

Auf den Tag genau heute vor einem Jahr war ich am Strand von Warnemünde.
Hatte die Kamera in der Hand, bin meinen Gedanken nachgehangen, hab die Seele baumeln lassen...
Eigentlich schreien Lichtsituationen wie diese nach einer Langzeitbelichtung.
Aber mal ehrlich: Wem von uns gehört schon mehr als dieser eine, kleine Moment?
Vergangenheit ist unumkehrbar, Zukunft nicht wirklich planbar.
Umso mehr Raum bleibt für Träume, Wünsche, Ideen...

The Dutch coast has no natural rocks, just sandy beaches as far as the eye can reach. Nevertheless, one can find some artificial rocks as here at the entrance of Scheveningen harbor. These rocks are overgrown with animals and plants typical for such substrates. Seeing these rocks and kind of life gives me always the feeling of being back in primeval times when all live was restricted to the sea. This feeling I wanted to accentuate with this small depth of field image. It is a close-up view with a low PoV
