we add some gaze to prevent any funky stuff and to give more duralibity to the mold, then we add more sylicon, after this we'll be making a "contramolde" don't know the correct word for this sorry... then we go to the back part of Karuzo®

we choose this type of mold to be sure that the part of the head and the back (a trouble one) get off easily.

Sculpy toasted ready for molding

A new birth of wood and flesh.

Is it a new beginning or the same as before in a new skin?

I’m not too sure but personally I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.

This is my custom of a wooden TRX Robot figure by Zuchna. This custom is called TRX - Ent........Ent for entomologist. He's not your usual entomologist....he doesn't exactly collect or catalogue species.....

I had fun making molds of various oreo products so I made myself a keychain. I opened the top part of my sister's gift to me to reveal the pink pouch which had the applicators she spoke of. Not sure what I was expecting but was pleasantly surprised - like eyeshadow applicators but with silicon tips. They will be great for sculpting. This picture also has my brush tips that I got a long time ago. The have "rubber" tips. Great for tiny sculpting. Also working on a baby shower so made rubber stamps for the shower gift - Thank you and a foot.

I made the figures with Super Sculpy.

I made this little girl for teddybearomg's new dal, Tezca (who she renamed Stella)

She's about 3cm tall, her eyes are stuffed with aluminum foil and she is made from sculpy.

She also has innards.... hmm?

I am a liiiitle bit weird. Only a little though. ;)

Interior of a custom Republic Commando prototype for casting. (On the left) Comparison to the original TLG Phase II helmet.

Today i paint this little fellow - i sculpted him with super sculpey. But after baking it became spotted - i guess i did not knead sculpey efficient. So i had to paint him. After finished this i will stitch him some clothes. Maybe his temper will become better then ;o)

Detail of three of the pendants for the Kandinsky inspired necklace.

This is the smallest handmade doll I have and she came from Vermont. She is made from cloth covered wire and her face feels like sculpy to me. She is even poseable. At about 4.5 cm she is amazing and cute as well.

I just realized the sheer amount of stuff I have. This is about 50-60% of my completed jewelry :) it's just all the sweet stuff... I must spend so much money on shiny beads, glitter fimo and rhinestones. Hahaha. Better photos up soon.

I saw this custom on this site

www.loucoporbonecos.com.br/cobradeaco_i.htm

a few years ago.

I had plenty of Snake-eyes heads to do it, so just added some extra to the head with sculpy, finally found some use for the ankle guards, added some silver paint, now I have another Cobra Mercenary.

Remolded and better than ever! Waterbear figures are now available for purchase in my Etsy shop! Find them here

These are made of sculpy. Check ebay, they may be up for auction.

Pumpkins from polymer clay ^_^

I’ve had these little guys finished for just a few weeks, but with classes starting this week I thought I’d take the time to post them. I believe the first time I heard about these creatures, known as Tardigrades, Water Bears, or Moss Piglets was on either Animal Planet, or the Discovery Channel. Fascinating little critters, if you are unfamiliar with them, take a look; you’ll fall in love with them too, I promise: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tardigrade

Anyway, this figure was sculpted with Sculpy clay and prepared for the molding process. I made a two-part rubber block mold using Polytek 74-30 Mold Rubber. The cast positives are made of Easy-Flo Clear Plastic, another Polytek product. From start to finish, the process from sculpting to the finished figure took about a week.

Looks likeI got my work cut out for me for quite a while!

I couldn't decide between no flash and flash.

This is what happens after one crazy party with sculpy. You'd think that's pie or something in the background, but I'm pretty sure it's the sculpy model of road kill playing with it's brain in a pool of it's blood.

Oh, and this photo was taken by Gene.

ork mek from sculpy, greenstuff and milliput

One of the rune sets I have made for sale.

These are not made from a mold. The clay is hand mixed, layered, and then rolled thin. Each rune is cut out. And then I begin the laborious process of adding the actual sigil to the blank rune. The sigils are made from strings of clay that I extrude through a clay extruding gun.

I have not decided yet, if this piece will become a pendant or a brooche.

Now in my Etsy shop. See my profile for details
