Attila Csihar, the baritone voice of Sunn 0))) and Norwegian black metal pioneers Mayhem, created his first ever intimate solo durational work. Inspired by the theatre, science and ancient mythology of alchemy, he performed a specially created text in the Enochian language within a scrying ritual. Central to alchemy, scryers often used bridges and towers as portals to access visions of the past or future. It was also considered as a way to communicate with God through Angels, which John Dee famously turned into the Enochian Dictionary in the 16th century.
In this radical new work Csihar connects together the North East landscape from Lindisfarne to the Tyne Bridge with past, present and future.

Unbelievably, everything the Wise Visitor told me was true! After many hours struggle, Herr Leibniz mastered the instructions for the Dragon and we burned a hot flame from the Black Oil. Before our eyes, common Sand became Purest Crystal. To think, Kaliphlin is so rich in the Sand, and the Oil that gives heat! And we can use them to make these Lenses, Scrying Glasses for land and sea, to search for the Other Colours, anything!
The Petrea General Trading Company has been very good to me over the years, taking me in and providing me with the best in modern facilities here in the basement of our Petrea Head office. Our CEO, President and Chairman Rasputin Jones has taken good notice of my Works with the Crystal, and he is giving me a new facility in the desert with even more potential.
Mr Jones has big ambitions for my Crystal Research. He greatly admired our Lookfar Scrying Glasses, and he plans to start making more of these for the glorious export Trade, as well as Crystal Walls so that our friends in Mitgardia can admire the beautiful Winter views from inside their homes, without getting cold! And Mirrors to sell to the beautiful and rather vain Ladies of Avalonia. This move into Crystal making could be the Big Time for Doktor Frankenstein!"

Our story begins on a sunday afternoon
Just between halfway tree and spanish town
Where a young boy
Not yet the cock o’ the walk that he would soon become,
Was lying on the grass and takin’ in the sweet and sensuous scent of hibiscus
That languidly lilted along the summer breeze
It was at this precise moment that he saw her.
Her walk was soft and delicate with a thaumaturgical touch
That only a rabbi’s daughter could have
Before their eyes had even met
Her luminous lips had already lured him in
Salvation winked with he promise of a briss held at pinnacle
And a congregation of sages bunny hopping and chicken dancing to yiddish mento
Then their eyes linked
An aeon blinked amharic vows were scryed upon their hearts
Just to think this could all be with a frenectomy and a few words of love.

This became the "God" side of my altar quite on it's own. I've had altars for many years (I've been a pagan for over 10 years) and I am not Wiccan so I tried to stay away from the dualistic look of a Wiccan altar with the Goddess on one side and the God on the other, but this is how the altar created itself, so I'm not fighting it.

A Horned God plaque by Dryad Designs. He has a pine cone in front of him that was one of three that my nieces gathered for me one day.
Reclining Greenman statue from Sacred Source
A large crystal point that I've had for years and have used as a scrying window in the past.
A small green onyx bowl (behind the green candle holder) that is resting in front of the Greenman. It contains patchouli and rosebuds, a combination that seems to have become my herbal offering signature of sorts.
A candle holder near the Greenman that is a bronze oak leaf with a Greenman face on it.
A bronze leaf dish that hold several stones that I've been given over the years by friends. They are from places such as Mystery Hill in New Hampshire, Glastonbury Tor, one from a Greek temple to Athena, one from the Red Sea, one from a castle in Scotland.
A nice generic green leaf style candle holder that I purchased from Walgreen's years back. It was part of their fall line.

Super-natural connects two points in time, the historical pre-enlightenment and genetic science of today, both periods signaling the onset of revolutionary or accelerated technological change. Integrating the practice of witchcraft with the emergent science of synthetic biology, the artist highlights the rifts between science and experimental folk culture. Working in residence in a synthetic biology wet-lab, she has constructed a synthetic life, animated by witchcraft and viewed through a scrying device.

What to do this super blue blood moon!
So pretty much every witch has been talking about this rare occurrence, with a pretty confusing name, and so lots of people don’t know what to do that night.
So what can I do?
Well first thing is to learn the correspondences
Super moon
This moon will have a strong effect on your personal power, as the moon is closer to earth creating a stronger gravitational pull.
Blue moon
The second full moon in a month. It enhances the connection between the realms (or in my belief the 9 worlds) and any spell work done has long-term effects
Blood moon
A lunar eclipse, an excellent time to welcome new beginnings or to let go of old feelings or unwanted items
* Now depending on where you live the moon falls on Wednesday which is a good day for creativity and change *
But what can I do?
Curses, specifically trump. Always trump
Long term spells, Money, Love, ect.
Cleanse your crystals
Perform a blessing or ritual
Dedicate the night to a deity or nature
Make an offering
Meditation
Collect moon water
Scrying (or other forms of divination)
Kitchen Magick (create a soup or pie for dinner )
These are just a few ideas, please feel free to tell me your own

Such wide eyed scrying actually leads me back to the beginning of this long posting- on the people who aren’t represented in this long and storied milieu of institutional memory and struggle. Women and Freemasonry is a bit of sticky issue for me. Since my understanding of “how business is done” is largely satisfied by my little argument evinced above, since this is a male only society- the ladies are cut out of lot of opportunity by this. Also, segregation was a big part of American Masonry for a long time, as evidenced by the Prince Hall branch of Freemasonry.
This would make a fantastic altarpiece or room ornamentation. Everything is hand drawn, nothing is traced. The mirror depicts a Roman-style temple and a landscape. Magna Mater (also known as Cybele) was a foreign goddess imported into Rome. The cult surrounding Cybele was one of exotic mystique that has left many in awe. The cult of Magna Mater is best known for the Taurobolium sacrificial ritual.
One of kind, ritually infused upon purchase. Entire piece measures 10" x 10", mirror inside measures 4" x 4"
Bangle made from found, corroded iron and iron components, sterling silver, black spinels and a natural quartz sphere.
When I made this, I was thinking about the pagan oracles who used wands, magic gemstones, scrying glasses and animal spirits!

(the hand and globe isn't mine, but found a thingie that puts pictures into other pictures and was like "I'm doin' this") Meanwhile back at Rayne, a worried mother checks in on her child, and his clan, only to see all was handled without effort.
Coveting for this hush to lie
Slashed on the razor's edge,
Mangled, purged of the chaos,
Mute in this garroting pledge.
Willing shards to incise, slit raw
Chained flesh of rotting pretence,
Bleeding in the recesses of this frigid mind
Escaping - the silence....
Longing for the scrying glass
To shatter inside my head,
Splinter, pierce the somber veil
Covering the core that bled.
Tears fall in aching drops
Pounding on each fragile sense,
Flowing down these fractured dominions
Escaping - the silence....

On the subject of running shoes, is there an ME associated with the brand REEBOK?
Looking through Reddit, there appears to be a myriad of people claiming to remember variations on the spelling of REEBOK... Some remember REBOK, and appear to be genuinely surprised to discover the addition of an "E". Still others claim to remember, REEBOCK, some REEBOX, and improbably REEBOOK and REBOOK get mentioned too! Their numbers are smaller than conventional MEs, so it's easier for skeptics to dismiss these memories, but is there any weight to these claims?
Conducting some research, I was surprised at the amount of residue in the various streams. Each query calls up thousands of matches that start to paint a persistent image... is this all spelling errors? Perhaps in some cases, but many articles and adverts repeat words, so it's obvious something like REEBOCK is being used intentionally.
Allow me to indulge in some speculative scrying. Many wonder how many different timelines are interacting with our own. The more I research the phenomenon, the more soupy it feels. It's almost as though there are onion layers of "homily dimensions"; with spelling variations revolving around similar phonetics. I wonder if they get increasingly distorted the further they move away from the original source, like ripples in a pond.
Presenting just a handful of images I stumbled across in the newspaper archives, but for the curious of mind, it does provide some food for thought!
