On Saturday night, we had a bit of snow and a lot of wind. Sunday morning, the snow was still on the street. While it wasn’t much, we’d had 3 vehicles lose control on the very steep hill we live on during the last snowfall, so we decided not to chance driving to church. Instead, we held church at home. Molly led the scripture reading.
"But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since through a man came death, also through a man came the resurrection of the dead. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own group: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s at his coming, then the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For it is necessary for him to reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be abolished is death." 1 Cor 15

Easter is not all bunnies and chocolate. Its a time to remember our Lord and Saviour, what he did for us on that cross. I used a picture of my bible for my post today, because of his never endlng love for us, and the bible reminds us of that. You can also check out my blog, lifeloveandfotografia.blogspot.com/
I linked this photo to www.arosynote.blogspot.com for photo friday. In this picture I used a couple of Florabella textures to create a more rustic look. I used my 18-35mm lens.
Scripture reference: Jeremiah 29:11. This is #4 in the new “What Are You A Fan Of?” series created by Deb. It was part of an “Art Offering” shown during our Worship Service on Sunday, January 27, 2013. She created this set of fun & inspiring artwork for our church’s 12th Anniversary Celebration.
MEDITATION
“Today in prayer, choose a situation that has been troubling you. Then come to Jesus and ask Him to supply your need. He is with you and knows what you lack. Even if you have to wait for an answer, put your Trust in Him. He is a God of abundance, and He will not disappoint!”
PRAYER
“Jesus, help me to remember to go to You first for all that I need.”
