I have no idea what this means, but I just like the elegance of the script.
The Roman alphabet just looks so inelegant in comparison.

For this image, I decided to write out my name. I knew that the camera would be inverted to I had to draw my name backwards, this was fun to make.
Karatepe Open Air Museum. It was this bit of Phoenician script that enabled the translation of Hittite cuneiform...sort of the Rosetta stone for ancient Hittite cuneiform.

Your first destination is Dhulikhel where you will be enjoying the real boon of nature being away from the busy of the city. Phulchowki is the name of one of the famous Hindu goddesses. Many Hindu people make their pilgrimage tours to this site. This area is also one of the best viewpoints for seeing some of the highest peaks in the World.The highest altitude on this trek is 2765 meters. Phulchowki, at 2760m is the highest of the mountains encircling the Kathmandu valley and provides an ideal introduction to the birds of Nepal. This broad-leafed-sub tropical forest is the richest for birds and wildlife in the valley and remains the most convenient place to see some of the birds that are rare or local to Nepal . The drive to Godawari is about half and hour and it is another half and hour drive to the top of the Phulchowki by four wheel drive. Phulchowki and Godawari forest are internationally famous for the species richness of their flora and fauna, specially butterflies and birds. They are one of the few remaining examples of this type of sub-tropical forest in Nepal . Mammals include Spotted Leopard, Yellow-throated Marten and Orange-bellied Squirrel.
Darktable, although it’s good software, used too much memory on my old-ass laptop to really take these tethered pictures quickly. As a solution, I wrote a script that I could add to my keyboard as a hotkey and now I can take a picture with just a push of a keyboard button. You need gphoto2 to make it work, naturally, and eog is Eye of Gnome which comes with Ubuntu as the default image viewer. Copy this into an empty document, switch your user name for mine, save it as tethered.sh (or whatever.sh), set it as executable and it should work.
#!/bin/bash
IMG="$(gphoto2 --capture-image-and-download)"
eog -n /home/adriana/Desktop/tether/$IMG
