My book club has always had a holiday get-together, but in the past two years we have added a new twist, a play at the "Paper Theater". One of our group members has built a stage, created the characters, and written the script, usually based on a Christmas book. I think we have a new holiday tradition!

"Immediately after the final home game of every season, the band performs what is known as "Script Kent", a formation similar to "Script Ohio" performed by The Ohio State University Marching Band and using the same song, Le Régiment de Sambre et Meuse by Robert Planquette. As part of the tradition, the band spells out "Kent" with the stadium lights off and band members wearing green glow sticks around their ankles that are uncovered only after the stadium lights have been turned off."

Pāḷi Tipiṭaka & Oslo Opera House in Norway
Tipiṭaka Patrons visit the new landmark to learn more of the Norwegian high culture and the love of music, as evident in the new construction of the stunning opera house at the Oslofjord.
Tipiṭaka is based on the oral tradition and the new World Edition by Dhamma Society also printed for the first time the IPA Pāḷi or the International Phonetic Alphabet for Pāḷi Sounds in the Tipiṭaka.
This important concept of the Pāḷi Sounds in the Theravāda Buddhist scriptural tradition will be discussed with the Tipiṭaka Patrons in Norway.
The Oslo Opera House (in Norwegian, Operahuset) is the seat of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera theatre in Norway. The building lies in Bjørvika, in the center of Oslo, at the head of the Oslofjord. Its builder was Statsbygg, a government-run property owner. The architects were the Norwegian firm Snøhetta who were also the architects of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (the Library of Alexandria) in Egypt.
Dhamma Society made a pilgrimage to Oslo to hand-over the 40-volume Tipiṭaka in Roman Script as a royal gift from the late HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana to the Buddhist Federation of Norway which will take place at the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo, on August 17, 2009.
Although the World Tipiṭaka in Roman Script was handed over to a religious organisation in Oslo but it was also presented as a Heritage of Humanity from the Thai people to the people of Norway regardless of their personal and secular believes.
