As in Victorian times, the precious, hand-lettered look of custom stationery is back in vogue. Enter Courtesy Script, my newest ornamental script typeface.
Courtesy captures the elegance and propriety of finely practiced Spencerian penmanship, in particular the Zanerian school. Its lowercase is notably understated, a simple monoline with very wide connections that ease readability. In the capitals, Courtesy adds variety in both the weight of the strokes, and in degrees of flourish — from merely fancy to over-the-top engrossery.
Based on an alphabet found in a 19th-century penmanship journal, Ale created hundreds of additional, stylistically complementary letterforms. Alternate capitals and lowercase letters, swashed lowercase forms, and ending and ornamental swashes; numerals, punctuation, and non-English and accented characters.
With virtually endless ways to customize its use, Courtesy helps designers create fluid, signature looks on stationery and invitations, book covers, fashion layouts, and packaging.

I love inspiration boards. I took my French Script fabric and covered a canvas corkboard and then added a shabby chic frame. The finishing touches are Vintage embellishments to hang words of inspiration.

The reddish coloration seem to be a fairly common phenomenon -- is it some sort of mold or parasite??
Wanted somin to sign my stencils with and have been rackin my brian for a while, and finally got down to this the other day. I think its still readable may do more with it.

The shooting was at the Fort EMBASSY SUPER CLUB and at our School Building School of design and Arts at De la Salle- College of Saint Benilde....

My first try at constructing a script and alphabet... Interesting result, definitely a learning experience.
it reads:
"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."
Cut bench mark on Sconce Lane where the footpath goes through the scout camp to join Baildon Moor. This bench mark is not on the first edition OS Map, nor is it listed in the Bench Mark Database, but it is in the OS bench mark locator: benchmarks.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/pls/htmldb/f?p=111:3:6049... as a third order bench mark, 170m above sea level at Newlyn.
Post script: as of 2017 it seems the gatepost with the bench mark has been removed. So this photo now stands as a record.
