This old scribbly gum in Manly Dam has seen a lot, including a few fires. This area is long overdue for a big fire...
experiment today... since we don’t have sidewalks close by to photograph, but I have plenty of old scribbles, decided to overpaint a scribble (pulled at random), and play with how the paint merged with the scribble... it was fun, early stages, outlining with pencil...

It is all free hand sketched and not stenciled. Some parts are inspired by other artist which will be marked at the finished version.

For the January Challenge- what would you change about yourself?
I'd like to think I've been getting better recently, but it still frustrates me how upset my mistakes can make me feel.
New pixel style for Polargraph on Monday. This is just a random scribble at each pixel position, with the number of scribble lines mapping to the density of the pixel.
It is really nice - gives the impression of writing, particularly in the lighter areas.
