So, when I’m drawing for illustration work, I sharpen my pencil in an electric pencil sharpener and then sharpen it more on paper. For some reason this scribble, to sharpen my pencil point, looks nice to me, my style.

I went wandering with a friend yesterday who looks up close at things I typically just walk by. I learned that there can be multiple lichens, mosses, and I don't know what, in one small area of tree bark. Here is what I think is Common Script Lichen", and some other things which I have no clue. Yet. My friend said the darker area is Beech Sucker. Sure.
Since I posted this, I have learned that these lichens actually need to be tested in a lab to determine for sure what they are. Also, the script lichen is called Graffiti Lichen, Genus Graphis.
There is a reason I am not a scientist.
Eucalyptus haemastoma.
The scribbly gum, is an Australian eucalypt that is named after the "scribbles" on its bark. These zigzag tracks are tunnels made by the larvae of the scribbly gum moth (Ogmograptis scribula).
Apparently this light was "drawn" on this building by reflecting off the tall concrete apartment building across the lane -- which has only straight, rectilinear features.

Esta combinação é de Setembro e usei como base o Cosmic Love , um lindo jelly teal escuro cheio de micro-glitter holográfico ( foto ao sol nos comentários ) que pertence á colecção "Colors Are the Music of My Life" da marca indie portuguesa Crazy Polish Lady . Foram 2 camadas, 1 da Base Glitter da 5Cinco e 1 do Tc Gel Finalizador da Cliché. ( imagem lá em baixo )
Ao fim de uns dias, e como as pontinhas apresentavam algum desgaste e o comprimento das unhas já me estava a incomodar demais, cortei-as e como o indie ainda estava em bom estado ( tirando as falhas nas pontas referidas lá em cima) , resolvi estrear a placa 18 da Cici&Sisi e com o BPS Green 18 carimbei a estampa de "corações desenhados" ( canto superior da foto ).
