To practice on a screenprinter I've just built I decided to go old school and do a print of the 'Every Cloud' painting. These first 6 tests all have slight imperfections (yellow uneven, few blurred lines) each unique you might say. Because of this they are £25 each, the next batch will be £35. Years ago, friend and fellow screenprinter Glyn "Scrawled" Smyth recommended that I use plastic credit cards as registration tabs, rather than tape. He said it revolutionised printing for him, and was so enthusiastic that he even gave me a pair of dummy plastic cards he happened to have with him.
I still have those cards but to this day have never used them.
I think about them everytime I register a print.
