French screenprinters Le Cagibi (here with Jon and Rainey) came to Seattle to make prints, but also to cook!
this is my maker faire stash! that provo bag is so great! and i love that i got to play with the yudu screenprinter and keep the bag i made. i also made out with embroidery patterns from sublime stitching, a notebook from the sweater felting booth, my felted bookmark from sweaters, my bracelet from the ponoko booth, a bracelet i made at a quilting booth, a light up ball, a temporary tattoo, a makezine water bottle, and some cheese! and this is only the big stuff. seriously. maker faire was awesome!
FSSL came to us with 2 weeks to go before their Championships - and told us their screenprinter had dumped out on them. So, in less than 2 weeks, I designed this logo from scratch and had a few hundred t-shirts printed front and back completed the project with time to spare. The back listed about 500 names. I've uploaded that as well just so you can see how much type setting was involved. I think this logo came out great.

The aim was to provide a simple and playful logo-type which reflects the essence of the brand. As part of the collateral I shot some images for her latest collection.

Speed-O-Meter on a "old" Svecia cylinder screenprinter. It's been some years since I've operated this machine, but I think my speed record is 1600 print's pr. hour. I'm pretty sure the machine will explode, if one goes above that speed!
We tried a slightly different version of the "Downtube Shifter" shirt which we had printed by Cafe Press. It's closer to the original artwork, but they don't look to be quite as colorfast as the silkscreened version done by our surfing screenprinter. This is also the highest quality shirt Cafe Press uses, which is still a lighter cotton than the Hanes Beefy-T's that we've been doing.
It does contrast nicely with the cap.

If you choose my design:
I uploaded just the image (no writing) so that you can have the screenprinter add it to the shirt seperately. In my experience, this is what works best.
My idea was for it to say "Kiss me, I'm Seamus!", but really, that's up to you. Here is an idea of what it might look like on a shirt.
