Popped down to see if there were any Kingfishers about after work today and managed to bag a few shots of this one, it was very cloudy and eventually I witnessed a full on thunder and lightening exhibition, due to the exceptionally bad light conditions any movement was just a blur so I thought I would take a short video before I left, a link is below and in the first comment if you fancy it! ò¿ò

This tiny guy won me over completely the moment I saw him at the shop! I just HAD to take him home!!! :P
He was stretching his tiny frame trying to get a drink of water, and his tummy stuck out XD Such an adorable little fuzzy bulge!
He's just TINY! And the shop said he was three weeks old? Geez! Our own 15-day-old hamhams are bigger than he!! And he still doesn't know how to shell his own sunflower seeds yet... awwww! Daniel has been doing that for him :P LOL!
He's a social little one, and already sports a great personality. He is definitely a hybrid as he has a slightly greyish face with blue and gold down his back.
I'm not sure who he will live with in time to come, but he's here to stay, for sure! I have a number of spare tanks now, so space is not an issue :3 *very happy*
Daniel and I decided to name this sweet little one Butternut after our favourite squash ^___^

Dog-tired I just wanted to take a short nap after work and nearly overslepet the whole evening. As I got up it was way to late and I did not have a daily picture. So I combined hunger, a piece of cheese and Lego Minifigs to the ultimate emergency photo solution!
Retrospectively I am really not happy with the angle of the ladder and the DOF but main parts of the cheese are eaten up and it's bedtime now. :D
So, goodnight folks!
