Making two new distributors for the Ferrari 250 GTO engine. The kit supplied ones just don't cut it. These are not quite complete, but are being made to match the Marelli distributors on the original car. The main body of the distributor is turned in aluminum on my lathe. Additional bits will be added.

My first attempt at scratch building...

Saucer Section finally attached to engineering hull.

I have also created the bridge from a Christmas cracker bowling pin.

Next is the bottom section of the saucer- see the shape on the left of the model.

Quarter deck, you can see how I'm going to try to allow access to the machinery spaces. I have cut a tapered section from the deck that will be removeable to get at the motors, thrust blocks, stern tubes and steering gear. I'm not sure if this is going to work or not, but this is the current version.

Retro sci-fi Raygun, DistortedCreators Industries prototype D-01

Lower wing modification. Notice the pencil marks for spar locations. Using fewer spars of a thicker stock for strength and to keep weight down. Don't know what my strength to weight ratio is really. Am I super strong but slightly heavy? Finished lower wing does have minimal flex when compared to the Sopwith Camel I built to exact Guillow's plans

I didn't have a good recollection of the reactor from seeing the film so I purchased the movie art book for a guide.

En escala de 15mm.

Hecha a mano.
