I've added some more details and greeblies to my scratchbuild..

Nearing completion of build-up, still need to finish the surrounding 'arms'.

Junk Tank Rock style 1/20 scratchbult wheeled bot made from a spherical promotional chewing gum packet, toy parts, staplers and other greeblies. The model was painted and weathered using emulsion tester pots and the base is premixed decorators plaster filler sprayed with decorative snow ( the canned stuff people spray on their windows at Christmas) which was then fixed with spray varnish.

My Collection of 1/24 figures

Figures from Tamiya Campus Friend Set that recently repainted and re detailed. Add Wrist watch detail in each figure.

The original tennis racket handle was missing years ago. This was scratch build.

I've been planning this in my head for a month, so I based the construction on observations made in the "real world".

I finally sat down and cobbled this together with styrene materials that I had available and using prototype (14' x 48') dimensions as reference. It's not as spindly as the prototypes appear to be, but this first attempt is acceptable.

The next step is a shot of brown paint, some weathering and custom images....

They need a bit of weeding - removing fibres which point the wrong way - but otherwise I think I can fit the knights.

I added greenery, cleaned up and gave everyhing a layer of Dullcote. Then stippled the middles of the pipes with Tin Bitz and Boltgun Metal sparingly, before sponging on some Agrax Earthshade.

the oil stains are layers of Agrax Earthshade (matt and gloss) and Typhus Corrosion.

The shapes are complex but I'm not sure these are usable. It may be better to scratchbuild them?

General view of opposite side.

Interstingly the 1/350th scale model looks almost as tall as my 285th scale model, that's because my 285th scale version is a waterline model and the 350th scale is a full hull.

With my Fiero's transmission ready to go any day now, I'm too broke to buy a new kit, so I built this one from scratch. Literally designed this 4FNC rocket on a piece of packing paper on a slow day at work. 4 days later it's nearly finished.

The nose cone and body tube are salvaged from my old Estes Phoenix which was built in 2003 and was my first "big" rocket. It was scrapped for another scratch-build around 2005. The body tube still has some minor defects from its days as the Phoenix.

The Phoenix's old motor mount became the SkyScreamer, and because I could not find a motor mount at the store I had to order one. Once that goes in, this bird should be done and ready to go on anything from a C11-5 to an E9-6.

I have left the fins flat so that a booster can eventually be added to make this a 2-stager.

Paint scheme inspired by an old F-16 toy fighter jet I had as a kid. I wanted this rocket to be easily visible on the ground and in the air. Spent the last two days working on the finish. Unfortunately when I went to clearcoat the decal it did not get along with the white paint so it's kind of cracked on the side not pictured, debating keeping it as-is or just painting that side of the fin black.

The "FAT-CAT" lettering was my first attempt at stenciling, and it actually came out pretty decent. The Felix carrying a bomb decal is from the logo of a Naval squadron.

Basic kit is Aoshima Nissan Terrano R3M, converted to 2 doors. Custom setting suspension to fit larger tyres. This kit was brought from Japan by My Brother, so I have to build it. Since I already have two Terrano kits, then this one should be different. Finished in Mica Blue (TS-50) with Light Gun Metal Grey (TS-42) with Gaia EX Clear Coat. Interior finished in Gray/ Brown. Scratch build front winch, bull bars, over fenders and rear air deflector. Wheel from Fujimi Suzuki Samurai kit, tyres from Aoshima Hilux Surf Wide.

Here you can see the many different components to this project, lots of various parts scrounged-up from whatever I had around.

This is my model, photographed from the same angle - well, I'm impressed with it.

The sun has bleached the colour out a little, as can be seen in the next picture.
