Okay, I really didn't believe it when the moose told me he could put his back hoof over his head. So I bet him $50 he couldn't, needless to say, the moose walked away a bit richer than when he arrived.
Actually, this young fella was browsing in our yard and he had an itch. It amazed the photographer the agility and flexibility he had.Guessing that this bull was three or four years old, his paddles are being formed and will continue to grow until mid to late August.

Realizing the potential of the unique attachment properties of the hundreds of microscopic “hooks” of burdock flower heads, Georges de Mestral worked tirelessly to develop a process to reproduce them in textile form and create what we know today like the hook and loop system. The 2 Amur Tigers in this enclosure were quite active (for a change) taking turns in marking and checking their territory.
The very endangered Amur Tigers at Yorkshire Wildlife Park are part of the European Breeding Programme and successfully raised 3 cubs in 2015.

A Swan has a good scratch after a quick preening on Liverpool Marina, I should always take my left over bread for the birds when I'm there, my pouch of microwave rice just sunk and left them dissapointed.

Quién le iba a decir
a este pobre palomar
que podría ser objeto
de acoso e invasión.
No es que vayan a su puerta
y allí con alevosía
le canten como la tuna,
con acento campesino,
la mejor de las canciones.
Es que le han convertido
en protector indefenso
de esa verde algarabía
que se toma como propio
su mismo centro vital.
¡Se puede tener derecho
a que le hurten impune
aquello que es su morada,
y arañazo a arañazo
le queden mirando al cielo!
Tessa and Sole have a new cat scratcher thing. Tessa didn't read the instructions so she's taken it over thinking it's a princess bed. Sole and his claws can't get anywhere near it.

That bull elephant in musth again. This guy was following a herd of matriarchs and their herd. Keeping an eye on a young bull family member and making sure he kept back from the rest of the herd. At some point the herd slowed down and the bull decided to get a little amorous with this termite mound where he snuggled it with his trunk, dry humped it and then scratched his butt on it.
