That bull elephant in musth again. This guy was following a herd of matriarchs and their herd. Keeping an eye on a young bull family member and making sure he kept back from the rest of the herd. At some point the herd slowed down and the bull decided to get a little amorous with this termite mound where he snuggled it with his trunk, dry humped it and then scratched his butt on it. Scratch the surface serve a purpose

Scratch the surface don't waste my time

Such an empty life, night after night

All hidden faults, are such a shallow sight

Such simple sheep, herd to the creeps

Beauty is null, barely skin deep

What is the force that drives the superficial

Tell me what keeps their minds remaining little

What is the force that drives the superficial

Tell me what keeps their minds remaining...

So afraid to actually Scratch the surface.

Candid street portrait taken in Ayr, Scotland, during the Scottish Air Show 2015. Lingering my frame long enough to capture that instantaneous eye contact and resulting in a very thought provoking expression on this gentleman among the thronging crowds which numbered 120000.

Another bird more often seen at Middle Creek, but that I am rarely able to capture is the Bald Eagle. I saw this one snatch a fish on the other side of the lake so I drove over there hoping to get close. I got lucky (except for a few branches in the way) and this capture was taken from the car.

That looks like it feels good.
