Between WTC and Belgacom towers in direction of Simon Bolivar.

Well, it's a fairly fancy old boot scraper. It lives on Rutland Square, should you care to go and admire it.

We went for a bush walk and these boot scrapers are at the entrance of the walkway so we can scrape off any mud and seeds and more importantly any disease. Good to see it has been well used. Where we went there were Kauri trees, however, they were a three hour walk and we (Mike) cannot make that journey these days so we went as far as we could admiring the beautiful New Zealand bush.

No, it's not a fag end goal! Can be found in Abbey Street, Chester.

Back before streets were paved, you'd use one of these before entering a house. Didn't want to bring mud or horse droppings inside. One of many on Pinckney Street on Beacon Hill.

This boot scraper is on the steps to an 1825 schoolhouse in Massachusetts. Children would clean off their shoes before entering the school.
