This is a familiar tool. As I remember them from my childhood I got curious and bought this one together with a few unused scraper hooks. This Skarsten model is apparently made for wallpaper scraping but works well enough on wood too. The removable hook can also be sharpened.

The top of BoA gets lost in some clouds. I liked the colors on this one and the huge power station at the bottom.

Orchard floor after the scraper has gone through. All the dirt the harvester leaves in the center of the row is moved to the sides, leaving a clean solid center for the next picking.

Well, it's a fairly fancy old boot scraper. It lives on Rutland Square, should you care to go and admire it.

Alongside some elevated Metra commuter rail tracks leading into Chicago.
