A striking close-up of a performer in a detailed steampunk-inspired monster costume at the Guggenmusik Festival. Rusted metal elements, intricate textures, and an expressive face bring this character to life in the vibrant atmosphere of the event.

Franklin & Pine: where they're installed but, maybe, their names? Or would it be C-3PO and R2-D2?

Call it 'found art,'
Kicked to the curb.
Call it a bad hair day,
Coiffed on the street.

While on the look out for the ever elusive Snowy Owl, I saw this scrap metal on the shoreline and decided to try and capture the early morning light. Thanks for stopping by!

Palacio de las Aguas Corrientes (Water Company Palace) museum was curating an art show by Edgardo Nelson Rodriguez, a 1942 born Buenos Aires artist.
Here are two of the show pieces.
The show is based on 3Rs: REDUCE, RECYCLE AND REUSE.
Rodriguez works with plastic materials used for something else, most often waste and scrap.
Rodriguez illuminates his pieces and makes them subjects of the limits of his imagination.
The shows aim is to raise awareness among adults and children about caring for the environment .

Lots and lots of detail. I particularly layered the tree leaves with stitches and different fabric./branches. How do you like this one?
Made from a junked opener, found nut, scrap wire, and ceramic bead.
Inspired by a suggestion from fellow Flickr artist Ulyxes (thanks Ulyxes!).

My first attempt at sailboats. I am not sure how they will be received, but I had to try. I think I will work on them more and try to get a better sailboat.......
