A fine old International Scout that we spotted in Flagstaff today. He appears to be a bit snowed in. This was in a parking lot on Route 66 at the intersection with Switzer Canyon Road.
Scout is a 7-year-old yellow Lab and a big part of our family. She loves to run and is a fetching machine. She also loves to climb 14ers with us and has her own backpack that she carries water and treats in. Every morning when we wake up, we tell her “Big Stretch” and she gets into the downward-dog position. Then we give her belly rubs, which she loves, and it also allows us to do daily checks for lumps or anything health related that might appear where you normally wouldn’t see it. Scout loves to have her photo taken and has become quite the supermodel.
