Vtol scout with radar equipment, scanner, camera for night vision. Equipped with shields and plasma cannons.
Well I got up this morning and said, I think I will do Kinder downfall, I forgot how hard it is. So to Glossop I went and then from Glossop over Mill hill. I go over mill hill and then the Old man was just looking at me as to say come then, I took my first shots to get this Panorama, Then the big climb. well I got up puffing and panting, It was hard going as the snow was still around and deep, I got to the down fall and took some shots had a bit to eat and then off back down but over the Pennine way to the snake and down the snake, I was going to go down Doctors gate but just to shattered so I stuck to the snake, in to glossop and home. It was great to see Kinder scout in full splendour and the downfall was fab but not blowing back up.
Close to home.
Christmas Day walk around the village.
This year I’ve deliberately looked for the run down, neglected, overgrown and overshadowed by infrastructure. Several snapshots of the state of the nation. A couple of images are a bit off topic so your eyes aren’t deceiving you if there’s an unexpected “nice” scene or two in the series.
It was a bit too dark and overcast for a film camera so I fell back on my trusty Olympus set to “Grainy Film II” mode. A more forgiving camera when it comes to poor light.

This year i decided to set myself a photography challenge.
I live near 4 reservoirs, Ingbirchworth, Scout dike, Royd moor and Broadstones, about a mile an half radius between them, so very close together.
I walk them often with Honey and I've photographed them often with varying degrees of success.
My challenge to myself is to get 12 photos for a 2020 calendar, the photos must contain one sunset and one sunrise from each reservoir and one general shot from each reservoir, all photos taken this year 2019, so no older photos from previous years.
Ive set up an album to put the photos in to, but photos can be removed if i take a better one, as long as at end of year the album as the 12 photos as described above.
The above photo is the first to enter album, though i very much hope it doesn't stay there, far too many faults to it. It was taken at Scout dike reservoir.
The reservoirs are quite different and it will be a challenge to get 12 images I'm happy with, I've put a link below with a map showing the four reservoirs, if you click it you can see it larger.
Two-man scout ship designed for speed. Two aft control surfaces allow for better handling in atmosphere.
Built this one awhile ago and just got around to photographing it.
Sorry had to phone it in this week. Scout had her annual vaccination and not feeling well. I was really busy trying to get stuff done around the house so no time to get a decent photo.
The Alaska Territorial Guard (ATG), more commonly the Eskimo Scouts, was a military reserve force component of the US Army, organized in 1942 in response to attacks on United States soil in Hawaii and occupation of parts of Alaska by Japan during World War II. The ATG operated until 1947. 6,368 volunteers who served without pay were enrolled from 107 communities throughout Alaska in addition to a paid staff of 21, according to an official roster.[1] The ATG brought together for the first time into a joint effort members of these ethnic groups: Aleut, Athabaskan, White, Inupiaq, Haida, Tlingit, Tsimshian, Yupik, and most likely others. In later years, all members of some native units scored expert sharpshooter rankings.[2] Among the 27 or more women members were at least one whose riflery skills exceeded the men.[3] The ages of members at enrollment ranged from 80 years old[4] to as young as twelve[5] (both extremes occurring mostly in sparsely populated areas). As volunteers the Alaska Territorial Guard members were those that were too young or too old to be drafted during WWII. (Copy Courtesy of Wikipedia)

I've been fascinated by the PC game Homeworld since it came out in 1999. The iconic designs of the spaceship, with their colorful stripes and blockiness translate well into lego. Here is my take on the Taiidan scout. I decided to use a dark re, white and old dark gray color scheme with made this build quite harder for me.
I might redo the lower wings If I can locate some dark red 75° slopes at a resonnable price.
