The Bonfire Yell is one of the highlights of the annual Scouting Camporee. The boy scouts and girl scouts of SFAMSC show off their talents in dance, acting, and singing as they perform their cheers and yells exulting the values of scouting and challenging the other patrols to do better with friendly jabs that help spark healthy competition. To give their very best performance, each patrol dedicate many days to choreograph and practice their yells. This activity helps develop important life skills such as cooperation, teamwork, creativity, and the strength of character to be able to perform publicly. Audiences are usually surprised so see once timid and shy students shine and give it their all in the Bonfire Yell.

Scout headed right into the river to get a drink, then came right to me and tagged me with his sloppy wet mouth. I had this big wet circle on my chest the rest of the walk.

March 10 through March 13 2019. This hands-on resident camp allows girls ages 14 to 18 to participate in a variety of activities which build leadership, self-confidence, and respect through teamwork. The camp is supported by the Girl Scouts, in partnership with Public Safety, Police and Fire/Medical Departments from across the valley.
Cubs from Pack 546 visited Jet Propulsion Laboratory to learn about space exploration! Scouts enjoyed an up-close and personal perusal of satellites, robots, space vehicles, and instruments from the museum.
On the 19th June 2013, the Cubs of 1st Shalford went pond dipping and looked at the plants along a stream.
The Böker Scout is a well-proven hunting folder. The grip scales of the new variant "Splint" consist of semi-opaque resin with embedded aluminium chips. goo.gl/jeP3b3
This year saw the 10th running of the annual Southern Classic Festival held at Levels Raceway near Timaru in the South Island of New Zealand. Over 200 bikes were in action over 3 days, plus a large display of bikes. On show or on track were bikes ranging from Vintage through to the 90’s though my photos focus on pre 85 bikes as that is my interest. A great event celebrating its tenth year with a great atmosphere and full access to the pits.
