Can you say dream? Hi! My name is Noel and my foster mom says I’m someone’s dream dog, I just haven’t met that someone yet. But she says it won’t take long at all. She asked me to answer a few questions to help that person find me quicker.
Am I shy? Yes, but once I know you I’m a love.
Do I walk on a leash! YES, I walk right at your side and I don’t pull. My perfect person will love taking me on long walks because my leash manners are perfect.
Do I like car rides? You bet! I jump right in and sit or lay on the passenger seat!
Do I like other dogs? Yes. I’m shy, so I don’t need to meet other dogs to be happy, but I’m fine with them. I’m pretty chill.
How are my manners? Great! I have very polite manners. I like to go to coffee shops with outdoor areas and lay at my foster moms feet while she eats or chats with friends. I’m an easy dog to be around.
My foster mom said I should tell you that I may try to protect you or my house if I think someone is suspicious, but I listen to my foster mom when she tells me someone is okay, so she says it’s fine.
If you think you may be my perfect person put in an application soon! My foster mom doesn’t think my sweet face will last long before I become someone’s forever dream dog. Adopt Noel or another dog from Old Dominion Humane Society in Virginia. Olddominionhumanesociety.org
Mr. Cat died this morning. This is now the last picture I ever took of him. I am still too much in shock to really write or talk about it and I've spent the day crying and trying to get some sleep and throwing up.
What if's and should have's keep running through my mind incessantly as do the events of the morning like some sort of horrible movie replaying over and over. He was DOA at the emergency vet so we don't know the cause but we believe it was probably kidney failure.
I already miss him so much. He was only with us for a bit more than a year but his loss is felt so strongly. I keep half expecting to see him when I enter the living room. I keep feeling like this is some terrible dream and maybe I'm gonna wake up and be able to go to him and do something more to help him and I can't and I won't be.
I love you Mr Cat and I hope you were happy here.

Mr Cat is not ok. It may be something as simple as depression or dehydration or it may be something as serious as kidney infection or failure.
Long story short, we realized that no one had seen him eating or drinking or even in the litter boxes in at least several days, maybe a lot longer. He's acting depressed and listless but still has enough energy to run across the living room to try to get outside when the door's being opened.
He has an appetite and isn't vomiting but when I picked him up and put him in front of water he drank for two minutes straight and then a very short bit later drank a ton more. He chewed up our blinds and I don't know if maybe he actually ate some.
Please keep him in your thoughts. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about but we'll take all the good vibes we can.

She got lost out in the woods for about ten minutes this evening. She got separated from us and from Bjarki and scared us all to death. She wanted me to carry her home after that. Scared herself, too!
