The light and texture play nearly perfectly against each other. I can't explain it, but certainly I can feel it just by looking at this. There's something here that grabs me and doesn't let go.
Using a scanner, I decided to move across to see the different shapes and expressions. The face starts close from the left and as I move along the scanner I move further away. The image almost looks as it it's three images placed together, having more there makes the image look interesting. I also like how the hair is coming more into the frame and is the only thing in focus by the end shot.

Experimenting with movement, results weren't as great as I thought it would be. This is a rose dragged across an Epson scanner in a very particular way. #scanography
