We are pleased to announce that the next show in the Baby Gallery will be featuring the work of our talented flickr friend, Ranjit Bhatnagar (art link)

For years, Ranjit has been taking the local bounty he's found at the Grand Army Greenmarket in Brooklyn and promptly throwing them on the plate of his scanner.

Yes, he goes through several scanners a year (I worry every time I see wet scallops or dirty mushrooms).

Ranjit also creates robotic instruments and will be sharing these with us at his opening.

Opening Tuesday December 1st, 6-8p

Greenmarket Scanography will be up throughout December.

Robots, people. Robots!

....and a haiku about the show:

Thanks Ranjit!

Unbelievably... I will be hosting an exhibition of some of my 365 photos tonight!!

A very enthusiastic, supportive and quite possibly crazy friend convinced me that this was a good idea, and set about organising a venue and creating a press release. It is yet to be seen whether it is a good idea - the proof will be in the reception received, but having been handed the opportunity on a plate it would be a lifelong regret if I didn't at least give it a go. Arrghh!!!
