52 weeks:the2012edition weekly theme: break the rules
The rule I broke with this is that I didn't use a camera to get the image, but a scanner.
Objects that I found in the previous weeks. I am looking for a method of predicting future events from randomly found objects.
Because the city is a living organism with it's own thoughts and actions we can tap into it's unconscious.
And if the Etruscans could predict the future from the folds in the liver of sacrificed animals ... why couldn't I predict the future from random urban garbage?

Pictures made with my HP scanner and edited in MS Paint. Really high tech :)
One of the techniques I learned in our most recent closeup class was scanography – using a scanner to create art. This is a geranium blossom, which I moved while the scanner was scanning.
I see a lot of weird faces in it. Do you?

EDIT: Thank you for 2,000 photostream views, and Happy Fourth of July! If you are in Canada, or any other country, happy Wednesday! xD
