When I was born my mom told my dad that he was responsibile for cutting my hair, this was one of the few times he actually followed through with that agreement. I am holding a shaving brush and yes, my dad has a pipe in his mouth, those were the days. I wish the scan on this would have turned out better so that the texture from the print wouldn't show up.
I scanned the contents of my purse, saved as a jpeg; scanned my face, saved as jpeg. Opened both in PhotoShop, opened new project, dragged the purse contents to the new project--Layer1, dragged my face to the new project--Layer2. Adjusted the opacity in layer 2 to my liking, tweeked the brightness, contrast, saturation, and curves and got this.
Written on back … "Japs had to clear the land. About 8 Japs allocated to each Aussie. Japs were really starving when they first came. Used to tie frog to stump and come back to get it after work. Jap engineers, officers, all had to work. They didn't put a foot wrong".
