E' una bella e tranquilla serata e mi affaccio dal pogiolo, vivo al primo piano. forse è passata mezzanotte. mi accendo una sigaretta, con calma. abbasso lo sguardo, vedo i gradini di marmo bianco che conducono al portone di ingresso del palazzo. sono a pochi metri sotto di me. guardo le ombre della ringhiera di ferro provocate dalla forte luce del lampione li accanto formare un motivo proprio sopra la geometria dei gradini. interessante...Scatto.

Well we picked up some more scape people and hit the Bellevue Botanical Garden for some fun. I really like the protestors, and the portable toilet that Sherri picked out really made this a great scene.

Some old Post Office scales we have as my wife runs the Post Office here in out town. I'm really liking the dramatic black and white filter built into the e-m5. I'll be honest, I've never really used in built filters on a camera before but there are a couple of pretty decent ones with the e-m5.

Its been a while since I did this kind of work. I recently aquirred some plastic HO scale model freight cars from a friend who found them on freecycle. The plastic model was weathered using artist oils, acrylic paint, pastel chalk..drybrush and washes...i forgot how much fun this is
and remember: "rust never sleeps"

Afghan National Security and International Security Assistance Forces conducted a clearing operation in Ormuz district, Helmand province, yesterday. The operation lead to the discovery of 616 pounds (280 kilograms) of wet opium, 88 pounds (40 kilograms) of concentrated fertilizer, narcotics paraphernalia, and a pressure plate. This combined operation was conducted at a bazaar in the Ormuz district in order to disrupt narcotics and insurgent activity in Central Helmand.
