Just before Christmas Lidl had an offer on display cases, they were 2 for £55 so I brought 4. Here are 3 of the cases. They currently have Benelux and German models in them. They sit above the layout.

Anhydrous Ammonia is a dangerous substance. It needs to be handled by trained personnel using equipment and facilities that are in compliance with the regulations. A slightest mistake might lead to an accident, resulting in injuries, death, as well as equipment, materials, product and property losses.
This 1:24 scale model is built to provide training to the agricultural personnel. The model is depicting a generic ammonia storage and distribution facility. It features a storage tank, a railroad tank car, a tractor trailer tank and a nurse tank that actually takes the ammonia to the fields. Each main component (tank) has a loading riser representing the exact scheme of loading and unloading of that particular type of tank.
The model represents the correct pipes layout, valves, emergency features (including shut-off systems, fire extinguishers and immersion tubs with a clean water), labeling and signage - all in exact accordance to the requirements.
This is another example of a training model that literally saves lives. We built two of these models, which were presented to the agricultural professionals and received the highest feedback for accuracy, attention to details and high quality.

My mom got these from the post office as an interesting promotion. Each is cleverly designed such that a one, two, or three pound weight, respectively, will cause it's tip to touch the table top. These can be stacked to sum weights.
The mathematician in me thinks they should have chosen one, two and four pound ratings, as to create a superincreasing sequence.
You see, choosing which scales to combine is equivalent to the knapsack problem, an NP-complete problem which is rendered trivial by superincreasing sequences.
This model represents Joint Assault Bridge (JAB) system mounted on M1 tank chassis.
This time we got a chance to make the model operational. It is showing bridge deployment very close to reality, including articulating hydraulic cylinders. For the purpose of demonstrating the bridge deployment the model was mounted on a diorama type base with a "ravine".
Like our other models, this one was designed and tested in 3D software. The parts were produced by rapid prototyping from extra durable materials, in order for the model to withstand the frequent touching.
This model was rushed directly from our shop to the 2016 AUSA Annual Expo, where it take its place besides our other models. According to the client, the model received a recognition and appreciation of the visitors, functioned as designed, and was easy to operate.
The Eastman Kodak Studio Scale. I refinished the wood with shellac to be period appropriate using real shellac flakes and alcohol. The weights were perfect per my digital scale.
Well, here's a first look at the ICG Yard on my HO Dixon, IL, layout. No scenery yet, but some of the major structures set in place. And, yes, the track is nailed directly to the plywood with no cork/foam roadbed underneath since the ICG yard perpetually looked like it was sinking into the mud and weeds. Tracks (from left to right), lead to the town track, the ICG coop track, house track, middle track, main, Mor-Milk spur.
