This is an image I took from a glass blowing presentation at Wimberley Glassworks in Wimberley Texas. They were showing how they make pieces of their new collection called dragon scale vases.
Stand up look around
Then scale that down
I believe in a revolution
Everyone take a long look at you
Then Stand up and look around
and then scale that down

The Trotternish Landslip seen from The Quiraing on the Isle of Skye, with a couple of walkers on the ridge for scale. In geological terms the Trotternish landslip on Skye is recent, occurring around 11,000 to 15,000 years ago and part of it is still moving to this day! Enjoy!

The line along the shores of Puget Sound at Edmonds had its moments. Like many it seemed to be quiet for lengthy periods and then a series of freights would pass within no time at all. This loaded coal train surprised me whilst we were waiting in the car to board the ferry to Kingston. I had been ready for some potential bird photography so I had to make do with using my long lens. That being said this train was over two miles away when I took this photo.
The view looks north and sees BNSF unit 5302 at the rear of the consist. A mile and a half further up the coast three other locomotives propel the freight towards Canada with this export.

I chose the wrong time to visit this waterfall, a great lack of water.. there is the remains of an old mill on the site, not much remains and it is mostly covered by the undergrowth.
The Castle of Sümeg is one of the country's most beautiful, relatively well-preserved medieval fortresses, built on a barren hilltop that stands out from its surroundings.
Large-scale renovation works were completed in the Castle in 2022, the new interactive exhibition opened in the spring of 2023! Come, and see the exhibitions, the programs, travel back in time!
At the begining of the promenade - leading up to the Castle of Sümeg - you can find place to park your vehicle, but also from the Restaurant VÁRCSÁRDA you can find your way -with using a medium difficulty staircase- up to the castle.
