Today I awoke at 1 o'clock AM with the worst sore throat that I have ever had (okay that's probably an exageration, but it was really bad =P ). So i ran down stairs as quietly as possible and made myself a big cup of Earl Grey tea (my favorite) and immediatly felt much better. Thank you Earl Grey!!!
Twenty years after closing, a taped up poster still hangs on despite paint peeling around it.

St Luke's Hospital & Texas Children's Hospital, in the Houston Medical Center. Two of many reasons Houston is one of the greatest cities on the planet.
This is basically the same shot as the one below it, but taken at a wider angle. I couldn't decide which one I liked more, so I posted them both.
The interior is filled with Italian marble, Russian semiprecious stones, mosaics, icons, bronze, and silver. 75,320 square feet of mosaics can be found on the outer and inner walls. There is not a single painting inside the church; its walls and ceilings are almost entirely covered with mosaics.

The colors of the series of banners for Lent represent a life cycle: green (spring-new life); purple (flowers in bud), pink (flowers in bloom), yellow (faded flowers), tan (wilted flowers), grey (lifeless), and red (blood). The cross and the crown of thorns depict the crucifixion. The wording is the seven things Jesus said while he was on the cross. The Lenten banners were made in memory of Richard E. Zielske.

This unusual drawing was the result of a very interesting and vivid dream I had last night, Holy Saturday. I am calling this new drawing after Isaiah 53, which includes the following Scripture Passage:
"For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."
