49 hours' hunger sit-in to support Tibet.
"Several members of Taiwan's Tibetan Foundation began a 49-hour hunger strike in front of Taipei's Liberty Square at 3 p.m. March 28, 2008, in an effort to raise public awareness over alleged human rights abuses by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in their homeland. "
but fewer people care Lucia, a brave woman who dared to hunger strike alone in front of Lagislative Yuan to depose President Chen up to 60 hours till now (12 PM, 2008/3/29), and she is still on going...

Location was intended for Eckerd, unfortunately never opened given the store was still being built when J.C. Penney sold Eckerd and there was already a CVS/pharmacy across the street.

French postcard by EDUG, no. 75. Photo: Sam Lévin.
Gorgeous French actress Dany Saval (1942) was the lithe and lovely leading lady in both fluffy comedies and thrillers of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s.

Oh, he is lying big time.

That's it for me and ABC Family...

Kyle XY was a guilty pleasure show for me but I saw and enjoyed every episode. I am getting sick and tired of shows being cancelled without getting a proper send off, especially from abc (Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone). I would be thrilled if there was one more Kyle XY episode/movie to allow the show to wrap up properly. After 3 great years, I think those involved with the show deserve a chance to finish it the way they want. Come on abc!

For my money, ABC Family's programming really offers very little for the "family". At least Kyle XY gave teens and adults a show they both could enjoy together. I'd say that by not renewing Kyle, ABC Family will lose more viewers than they can probably afford. Don't be suprised if they do a reversal and bring the show back, at least as a movie or shortened season to tie up all the loose ends. If they don't, boycott them and all their shows, and throw your support behind any network that shows an interest in picking up the show.

As far as I'm concerned, the only way ABC Family can redeem itself is by admitting what a huge mistake they've made and giving us a proper 4th season. However, since hell isn't likely to freeze over anytime soon, I'm hoping another network will take notice of our mounting "Save the Tub campaign." Surely there's a forward-thinking executive out there who will recognize what a gem KXY is and appreciate its millions of loyal fans around the globe. One way or another, we've simply got to get this incredible show back on the air where it belongs!

I refuse to watch anymore shows on ABC. What a horrible way to treat loyal fans after all these seasons. Network deserves to be boycotted.

First Middleman and now Kyle. I know Kyle was nothing like the great Middleman but I enjoyed Kyle alot and now with both gone, there is no reason to watch ABC Family.
Also except for LOST, ABC lost me when they cancelled Eli and Pushing Daisies. So both of them have lost me as a viewer now.

I can't believe that ABC Family is ending this series like this. No closure what so ever for the devoted fans that have watched this show from day one. Kyle XY made ABC Family a household word. Now they toss out a quality show because of lower ratings which was ABCF's fault as they didn't promote the show! We have people joining kylexy.net every day that did not know the show had come back and now they find it is cancelled. Way to go ABC Family. And that blog today about Kyle XY going on and "extended vacation", what the heck is that all about???
Help us move Kyle XY to a network that will treat it the way it deserves to be treated. Help with the letter writing campaign to save the show at:

The Keokuk Junction's eastbound freight out of Keokuk, IA clickity-clacks down the track at Ferris, IL with two GP20s and 32 cars. Ferris is in western Illinois at MP 209 on the former TP&W. The grain elevators in the background are aligned with a long gone former CB&Q branchline from Burlington, Dallas City, Ferris, Carthage to Quincy, IL.
The Keokuk Junction started off as a terminal switching line of former Rock Island trackage in Keokuk, IA. At some point in the 1980's, the TP&W sold off their LaHarpe, IL to Keokuk, IA branch and the KJ picked it up to have an eastern outlet other than interchange with the BN at Keokuk. The KJ has since bought the entire TP&W "West End" from Lomax, IL to Mapleton (near Peoria). This freight will continue east to meet a westbound from Mapleton (with F units). The GP20s live on this job while the F's live on the Mapleton based job.

Animals have feelings like us, they are sad, they are scare, the feel alone. So why do we feel incapable to feel anything for humans emotions, to beleive their inner pain ?
The solitude that humans feel i do understand it. We must we should rememeber our nature profond, we are always been one.

Nice to hear that this bus has been saved for preservation - at the Jurby Transport Museum on the Isle of Man in fact.
However, a great many of the old Malta buses, no longer operating on the roads, are being lined up for preservation, including for the proposed museum on the Mediterranean island.
